Clothes normally reserved for bed time have been seen all over the runways for many designer’s Spring 2016 collections. There is a fine line between stylish and sloppy when it comes to these styles.
Many of the upcoming trends for the Spring left me extremely excited for this coming season. I look forward to seeing tops that leave shoulders bare, pleated skirts, and more style wonders. Other trends had me raise an eyebrow, such as the increasingly popular pajama trend. Are pajamas stylish? Or best left for the comfort of our homes?

It’s not that I think pajama wear is ugly at all. I love how luxurious bed clothes can be, and on these models, they look amazing. But the average person probably won’t wear these designer pieces, so I am questioning how a mass-produced retailer will sell a product an average person can pull off.
Second of all, there is an extremely fine line between looking stylish and then looking like you just woke up in this particular style of clothing. It is much more challenging for a normal person to style a lingerie dress than it is a classic little black dress. Is it impossible? No, but I think we ought to proceed with caution and keep in mind a few tips when wearing this trend.
It’s crucial to dress up your outfit and pick the right shoes. Picking the wrong shoes for example, can make the outfit appear too casual to leave the house with. You want to send the right kind of message with your outfit, so picking some stylish heels may work best.

If you decide to go head-to-toe with this style, you can pull the outfit together by wearing it underneath a nicely tailored jacket. Or if you are a bit more demure and want stick to a pajama blouse, a tailored jacket and nice pants will look lovely as well.
Personally, my favorite way I’ve seen pajama style pants worn was with a button down blouse and a statement necklace. It still has the laid back luxury of pajamas, but is appropriate enough for daytime use.
SO IS THIS STYLE A FASHION HIT OR MISS? I THINK IT IS BOTH. IT JUST DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WEAR IT.
