The company is called Feyoncé (spelled and pronounced exactly like Beyoncé minus the B), and they sell sweatshirts, tanks and miscellaneous bridal accessories emblazoned with their company title.
The word Feyoncé is an obvious pun on the artists name and the word fiancé, and the brand mostly caters to newlyweds or newly engaged women and their bridal parties with celebratory engagement merchandise.
They often play off lyrics from Beyoncé’s 2008 hit song “Single Ladies”, stocking mugs emblazoned with the slogan “He put a ring on it”.
According to Beyonces lawyers, the store attempted to trademark the word “Feyoncé” a number of times, and cited their behavior as “intentional, fraudulent, malicious, willful and wanton.”
We’re guessing the stores owners are probably not going to be Beyoncé fans after this is over.
